There’s no proof that C-Sections are the cause of autism or ADHD

I’m very concerned about the fact that some blogs have spread the news of the study that indicated that “C-Sections are the cause for autism and ADHD”. But, my fellow bloggers, let’s read about the whole scientific study. In reality, they state that C-Sections are statistically related to this disorders, but is not the reason.

The scientific community investigating the reasons for this neurological disorders, has not found proof or the real triggers for these disorders in children.

“…no existe una base científica para poder llegar a la conclusión de que existe un nexo causal entre parto por cesárea y trastornos en el desarrollo neurológico. (There’s no scientific base to arrive to the conclussion that C-Sections and thedevelpoment of neurological disorders have a causal nexus.)”

Since I am no doctor or scientific researcher, I just want to make a call to action to every mom to be, mothers in general and bloggers to make the homework yourselves and search for the information as it continues to develop.

Estoy muy preocupada por el hecho de que algunos blogs se han dado a la tarea de difundir información incompleta sobre el estudio dedicado al desarrollo del autismo y el Trastorno de Deficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH) en niños, el cual relacionan con las cesáreas. El problema es que casi están diciendo que las cesáreas son la causa y el estudio no lo afirma así.

Este artículo explica muy bien que la comunidad científica no ha encontrado pruebas de que las cesáreas son la causa de los trastornos de desarrollo neurológico y no descartan una diversidad de factores.

Como no soy investigadora científica, qiero hacer unaa llamado a la comunidad de futuras mamás, madres en general y bloggers de maternidad a que investiguen sobre el tema por sí mismas, ya que es una información de estudios en desarrollo.
