A women and a mom that forgives herself

It is said that when you forgive somebody you’re setting yourself free. The person that hurt you is living their life normally, while you keep on aching for not forgiving.

The same thing happens when the one you don’t forgive it’s you. You’re not free.

When you forget to pack a change of clothes for your baby.

You overcooked your husband’s dinner.

You forgot to buy milk.

You couldn’t control your temper while cleaning your childrens’ mess and talked to them in anger.

And the list could go on, right? So when you finish the day you start blaming yourself and knocking yourself on the head because of all the mistakes you’ve made. But, is there a benefit in it? I don’t think so. I’ve never gotten anything but conflict inside of me, because of feeling guilty.

Today is the day that you decide to let go of all the times you’ve messed up and clean your record. Everyday is a new chapter. And a new chance to make it right. Forgive yourself. Be free. Be happy with the fact that there are many things we actually do right and that shows in the wellbeing of your loved ones.

If you want to vent here, leave me a commen. Or share this with a friend who needs to read it!

Hugs,
