My Medela Pump In Style Experience

One of my favorite breastfeeding products

Yes. Pumping is still breastfeeding. You are giving away your body’s nutrients, your sleep hours, beauty time, work breaks and more to feed your baby. Medela Pump In Style breast pump is my life saver.

You can pump from one side only and keep the other shut with the little cap you see on the left.

When I delivered my baby, I breastfed him exclusively after the first month (because 24 hours after my C-Section I couldn’t breastfeed, due to my recovery and my little one being at the NICU). After 9 months I had to start pumping, because I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and I had to bottle feed the baby when the medicine was still in effect in my body.

Medela Pump In Style Comes as a purse or a backpack. Mine is the purse one and I love that it has so many compartments.

This purse also comes with a mini bag where you can keep at least 4 milk bottles with a cooler which is also included.

This Medela pumping system doesn’t only comes with a power cord. It also comes with a power adapter that you can use with 8 AA batteries.

Hang On! This also includes 4 disposable nursing pads for you to try.

You can find this convenient pumping system on Amazon. I don’t regret this purchase at all. I’m still under treatment and I also use it for when I have to leave the baby with my mom for my medical appointments.

If you are going back to work after delivering your little one and highly suggest you get this product, because you can take it with you to your workplace.

TIP: I wash every piece with luke warm water and an organic dish soap for babies.

Do I use pads? I used the Bamboobies

The pads are reusable and do their job at saving your clothes from all the dripping.

I truly hope this review helps you mom to be to decide on buying this pumping system or at least on pumping your precious milk to nourish your baby during her first months of life. The World Health Organizations suggest that mothers breastfeed at least for the first 6 months of life and for two years complementing with solids.
